Spotify and Universal just teamed up to let fans make AI covers and remixes.

Yeah, you heard that right.

Remember all those lawsuits? The “AI is stealing our soul” speeches? Gone. Replaced by “please generate more content… and cut us in.”

It’s almost impressive how fast the industry went from panic to profit-sharing. AI didn’t kill music. It just made the gatekeepers adapt or die.

Love it or hate it, this is the new normal. Preferably with a side of sarcasm.
