Apple Intelligence Gets More Useful and More Creepy at WWDC 2026
Apple’s WWDC 2026 update brings cross-app context awareness and a more conversational Siri, along with the usual privacy questions.
At WWDC 2026, Apple unveiled the next wave of Apple Intelligence features across iOS 27, iPadOS, macOS, and the rest of its platforms. The headline is a more conversational Siri that remembers context, searches across apps and the web, and can even loop in ChatGPT for tougher questions.
Other updates include Safari tab management, one-tap password updates, smarter Home app notifications, and expanded photo editing tools. Apple is also promising more parental controls, which historically means more screen-time negotiations for families.
The pitch is familiar: Apple Intelligence runs on-device where possible, with cloud processing used only when necessary. The reality is that a Siri that knows what you asked yesterday will make some users excited and others uninstall everything.
Welcome to the era of assistants that actually remember. Try not to regret anything you said to them.
